This place has sooooo many things to offer and I've tried quite a few items so far.

Originally I came here mainly for their fresh tofu dessert but I've notice the quality of the tofu dessert is not consistent. Some days they are good and some days, it tastes funny.

What is consistently good is their fresh sweetened soy bean milk. I love the taste of it. It's not overly sweet.

I've also tried their flavored fried tofu. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think it's very flavorful. I do notice that there are many Vietnamese people buying it though.

They also serve banh mi here and I've only tried their grilled pork one and its pretty dang good.

Yas, I'll definitely come here again for their sweetened soy milk and their banh mi!

    well,
due to the terrible experience from last visit, I wasn't willing to come back again.  But we were in Chinatown early today looking for dim sum and after navigate around blocks without any luck, and noticed their empty parking lot, so we decided to go in to check it out what's up in this place first thing in the morning.

With regarding to the labeling I mentioned the last time, this time, I actually noticed pretty much most of their items are labeled this time.  HOWEVER, it's the label sticker with their name and address, not the food name and ingredients like it supposed to (I think by law its required, right?)   LMAO........  but an address label sticker, I have got to give them a star up for willing to listen to customer's complaints, that's got to be meaning something... :)

This time, we found this young pretty dressed Vet girl, even tho her facial expression still showing a lot of anger (I don't know why), but, I can sense her friendliness and willing to help and answer questions.  Way much better experience than the last time the other lady that we had to deal with... omg.  So for that, I give them one more star up.

so based on my personal experience today, I've gave them a star raise from 1 to 3 this time, and hope they could keep up with their customer service from now on.

Food wise, we were recommended by one of their customer about a box of four buns that cost 10, with mix of mushroom and tofu? she said its sooo good and we had to try it, so.... we bought it and hopefully its good.....

And their steam mushroom rice noodle (min 1 pound) is decent, and we end up got two pounds.

And oh, once again, their food is not priced.  We didn't know how much each of the stuff cost until after we paid and see it from the receipt..... so...... not sure why they don't think its important for customers to know this info... but..... please fix this soon.

In my previous review I said the owners are nice, I take it back, the woman owner is not nice. I came back to this place for the owners but nope, I'm done. Lan Hue is my new go to now.
I ordered chè and asked her if I can only have taro balls instead of mung bean, a simple no would have suffice but she kept rambling on and on saying that if she gives me all the taro balls she won't have enough for everyone else blah blah blah... I'm pretty understanding, but gosh woman!
Another time she made a sandwich for me and I have never seen so much bread in my life. I order cold ham combo, usually you would have three types of meat, nope I got two skinny slices of meat and very skimpy amount of veggies, my first bite into the sandwich was nothing but bread. WTH - this was made by the owner?!

Also, apparently you can't buy other foods and order sandwiches in one go. I came in for tofu and decided I also wanted a sandwich as well. So I went over to the sandwich ordering area and guess what they said to me? Next time "làm n" "PLEASE - in a rude way" weigh your tofu over there and then come over to order sandwiches. Ahh it's not my responsibility, if you guys gonna sell then weigh your own shit. The scale is five steps away from u.

The worse sandwich makers in the history of sandwich making. Terrible attitude and customer service. Not willing to understand the situation before reacting. RUDE people do not belong in this business. Customers should be treated fairly no matter the race, color, or creed. I don't think I was treated fairly.

I ordered two combo sandwiches both with extra pate and one with extra vegetables. When I asked the sandwich maker if she included extra vegetables, she raised her voice and stated it wasn't listed on the receipt that she got from the cashier, but it clearly said extra vegetables on the receipt I got. I tried showing her my receipt, but she make any effort to view the receipt in my hand and continued to speak with her voice raised saying, " you have to pay for extra vegetables". I continued to try and show her my receipt, but she still didn't want to look and raised her voice even more. I don't expect a fine establishment like yours to treat customers in this way and I hope she isn't like this towards more of your customers. All I wanted was for her to hear me out and look at my receipt. Instead she was rude and caused a confrontation and made me argue with her on something as simple as vegetables. I advise your to speak with her and let her know it's not right to treat customers this way when the facts are right there for everyone to confirm and agree on.

I've never had the banh mi here before but I tried it for the first time today and it was pretty good! I ordered the roast pork sandwich. The bread was softer than I usually like, but they give lots of meat! I also wished there was more veggies and cilantro but it was alright in the end. I really like the actual tofu that they have here, the fried tofu is my favorite, and I like how there are different flavors you can try of the tofu!
